My Story

Why I love Fargo

Fargo has been my home for more than 20 years; it’s where I raised my son, where he met his wife and where I met my husband, Dave Kolpack. Fargo offers access to education, culture, innovative businesses, Mom and Pop shops, and neighbors who truly care about one another. It is the best of a large metro in tandem with the heart and ideals of a small Midwest town; I want to do my part to keep this legendary community thriving for generations to come.

Bring integrity and Professionalism

My Core Issues

Continued Smart Growth

Promote Smart Growth through Homestead Tax Credit program, Core Neighborhood Plan, and collaborating with Cass Clay Community Land Trust, Fargo’s Engagement Center, City Planning & Development.

Safety & Security

Enhance Safety & Security by supporting police & fire depts, finishing the diversion project for flood control and Red River Valley Water Supply Project for drought relief; and working with the State to find short and long-term solutions for daycare so parents can rest easy going to work.

Keep Fargo Special

Keep Fargo Special by supporting interconnection & unity among city departments, leaders and employees; bring professionalism and decorum to commission meetings; continue Parks & Rec efforts to make Fargo a thriving destination for new families.

I will listen

Listen and Learn

“I have always believed the best leaders spend more time listening and learning than talking. As your city commissioner, I promise to respect the residents of Fargo by giving you my dedicated attention so I can learn about the real needs of this community. I will give objective and careful scrutiny to all issues, I will be tenacious and altruistic in service to the city of Fargo, and I will earn my seat at your table.”
